When we first became parents, we were convinced that after reading all the books and going to all the classes, that we had things under control. We both worked full-time, hung out with some friends, went out to eat, watched movies, and had time to kick back and be lazy whenever we felt the urge. But as soon as our son was born, everything changed - It was amazing to have this tiny little person in our world, but our perfect plans on having a newborn baby in the house fell apart. We had tons of questions and neither one of us had any experience to draw back on.

We've developed a community through the other parents and expectant parents that we meet at parks and playgrounds, and at local parent groups. And its amazing to see how almost everyone we speak to tells us the same stories about when they realized that none of the their "new baby" plans went like they though they would. Thats why Parents Overnight (parentsovernight.com) exist. We wanted a place for parents (both new and experienced) to find and share experiences and advice with each other - everything from teething to which products were best for their babies.

Parents Overnight is also a place to share photos and stories about our kids. Photos are such a great way to keep in touch with your friends and to see how their children have grown. Plus you have the option to only allow your friends to view your photos, so you don't have to worry about your privacy. In addition, Parents can write their thoughts and advice on any topic and share it, so that when someone else has a question they can find the answer within a network of friends who have gone through the same situations.
